Recently, Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio discovered that he is distantly related to actor/director Steve Buscemi. Now the band plans to have Buscemi direct a live webcast of their April 28th concert at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom. But first, Spinner has released a promo video for the concert that features Vampire Weekend and Buscemi’s “first meeting.” The awkwardly hilarious video features Buscemi mixing up the Chris’s in the band, trying to play along with their rehearsal, and justifying his use of AOL email.

Vampire Weekend’s new album, Modern Vampires of the City, is out May 14th.
