Have you ever wanted to start your own zine?! Well guess what? here’s your chance! Converse CONS Project: Boston is hosting a free “Zine Making & Printing” community workshop in South Boston this Saturday, Feb. 14th. You’ll definitely want to be there because zines are cool and this workshop will teach you how to make them. What more do you need!?

Converse CONS announces the return of CONS Project: Boston, a series of free community projects set up challenge the community with some really cool workshops that incorporate skating, art, and music. This part of CONS Project: Boston, will focus on “Zine Making & Printing,” it’s the fourth of five in the ongoing workshop series coming through Boston this year.

Through this workshop, you can learn some history on skate-zines, the skate culture, and of course different methods of actually putting the zines together. The workshop will be lead by zine maker and publisher, Andrew Martin Scott of popular arts space, Needles & Pens and bookshop, & Pens Press, and international photographer, Jai Tanju of print exchange program, Film Por Vida and art gallery and shop, Seeing Things Gallery, with the help of Organika Skateboards Pro, Quim Cardona.
