Zodiac Trax: September Forecasts 2016

Aquarius

Aquarius (Ruling Planet: Uranus; Element: Air) The most loyal of the air signs, Aquarians are known for their ability to make a lot of friends and their wide range of interests. The Water Carrier is the weird but charming, creative, independent type. But your independence can easily read aloof and detached. And like any air sign, you can be particularly inconsistent and unpredictable. Though, of all the air signs, you’re the most set in your ways, partially because of your strong moral compass and humanitarian instincts.

A set of eclipses will provide you with some crucial energy this month. First, the solar eclipse in Virgo on the 1st occurs in your intimacy sector, meaning you should take this time to work on any issues in that realm. Don’t freak out if you’re feeling too close or too far from your loved ones. Trust — when Mercury comes out of retrograde on the 22nd, it’ll be easier to move forward. On the 16th, the lunar eclipse in Pisces can put an emphasis on building your confidence — and eliminating what (or who) might be cramping your style. Later on in the month, Libra’s bold influence on the new moon will have you feeling adventurous, and it’s a good month for travel. Jupiter and the Sun also tour Libra, which might lighten your mood, and you’ll profit from looking on the bright side of things. The planet of love’s position in Scorpio can be favorable for first impressions. Finally, when Mars shifts into the sign before yours (Capricorn) on the 27th, you might find yourself needing extra rest and that you’ll get more work done with you’re alone. Use this time to do some thinking about what motivates you in order to work on transforming your inner self.

Your September TraxIf you’re finding the eclipses a challenge, let our your frustrations with some badass angry rock like G.L.O.S.S latest release, or this sick tune by Warehouse. And keep an eye out for the Sept. 16th release by Against Me!, called Shape Shift With Me, via Total Treble. As the month nears its close, something more laid back should be in order, and ROAR has some weird 60’s pop with a synth swing.
