Pisces
Pisces (Ruling Planet: Neptune; Element: Water) Your head is in the clouds, Pisces, and you have a grand imagination. But this way of thinking can often delve into escapist territory, and you have no problem deluding yourself to avoid harsh realities. You can be a pessimist who blames things on bad luck. And like any other water sign, you’re sensitive. But The Fishes in particular are intuitive to others’ feelings, and, although you often feel misunderstood by most, you have the ability to understand many people from all different walks of life.
Mercury’s retrograde especially affects your relationship this month, as it transits Virgo and your relationship sector until the 22nd. Don’t be surprised if you encounter mad miscommunications, rekindle a romance with an old flame, or take a break in your relationship. Also on the 22nd, the Sun shifts into Libra, and your mood will shift with it, appearing more serious, passionate, and intense. Jupiter and the new moon’s positions in the air sign this month only intensify your sex drive 😉 along with the tendency to take more things seriously and to strengthen your emotional bonds. Venus, the planet of love, will have you trying new things when it transits fellow water sign Scorpio on the 23rd. Then, sensible Capricorn’s influence on Mars can give you the perspective you need to make objective life decisions, and that might mean something unconventional. Lastly– the eclipses. Virgo’s position when the solar eclipses passes on the 1st may have you taking second chances on people from your past. Second, prep for the 16th when a lunar eclipse occurs in your sign because you might be prone to feeling emotionally tumultuous during this time, so give yourself an outlet for all your feels. You’ll have the space to reap what you sow, if you put in the work.
Your September Trax: This month is all about relationships and passion, and there’s something about Rhye’s album Woman that perfectly captures a seriousness and a sexiness. On Sept. 9th, the M.I.A. album A.I.M. releases Interscope, so look out for that. Warpaint also has a new album called Heads Up (out on Sept. 23rd via Rough Trade) that seems like it could suit an emotional and innovative mood. Lastly, Lapsley’s Long Way Home provides all the jaded feelings and smooth tunes that your watery little heart might desire.
