Boston-based rockers Mals Totem released their self-titled debut EP exactly a month ago. The project was a collaborative effort between the band and producer and mixing engineer Raul Chirinos, and has been in the works for two years. Some heavy hitting names have contributed to the creation process…George Massenburg (engineer for Journey) and Susan Rodgers (producer for Prince) worked on the single “Gargantuan”, and Jonathan Wyner (David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Nirvana) mastered the EP. The EP features five original songs, including the single and video “Gargantuan,” which you can watch right here.  The EP also features a re-imagined version of Radiohead’s “Jigsaw (Falling Into Place).”
