By wire and not-so-much, They Might Be Giants is taking 2015 with a mass communicative business model. The Dial-A-Song project is back from the depths of Brooklyn-born TMBG’s career, and yes. It’s still toll-free.

Starting January 5th, the group will release a new track every Monday for 52 weeks (12 months – 1 year – reduction is simple). Tracks can be accessed via toll-free number (844-387-6962), web (www.DialASong.com) and Monday night podcasts of Slate’s “The Gist” with Mike Pesca. Downloads will also be available on Drip.fm for more archive-minded fans through the band’s Dial-A-Song Direct service. 52 tracks for $30? They Might Be Economists (…sorry).

Other things on the alt-rock-educational-dork band’s 2015 agenda include two album releases alongside national and international tour dates. If you find yourself wandering through Brooklyn on the last Sunday of any month, catching a TMBG residency show at Williamsburg’s Music Hall is a viable option. Otherwise, check out the rest of the tour’s stops including a 4/23 show at House of Blues.
