Some awesome local acts are getting together for a show this Friday, so we thought we’d film these prestigious musicians eating bananas. And then play the footage backwards.

Skinny Pigeons, besides being aggressive consumers of bananas, hail from Boston, and deliver a mean medley of gypsy punk rock.

We’re all in like-like with Brazil, whose dreamy, psychedelic, folk-rock tunes get us moving and feeling good. If you haven’t seen their new music video for “Machine,” you’ve been sleeping.

The Rare Occasions are lean, mean, alt-rock machines. If they were geniuses at anything else besides making hit songs, it would be eating bananas.

Garage rockers The Snack Packs will be coming all the way from Vermont to play with these bands on Friday, too. And clearly, if they were a type of pudding, they’d be banana pudding.
