The Welsh party punk rockers of Panic Shack stopped by The Rockwell on June 10th for a wild night of frenetic fun.
They were joined by the talents of Boston’s own inplainsight, celebrating the new release of their debut album Anaverse with their very first performance at The Rockwell. They set the energy level high to lead the way for Panic Shack.
Panic Shack, true to their modus operandi, delivered a thrashing, yet danceable set that punched above its weight in such a small space. The set featured nearly every track of their 2025 self-titled debut album, which encapsulated everything the band does well. With subject matter ranging across a variety of irreverent topics, the charm was irresistible: Female friendship in “Thelma & Louise,” running a marathon while tripping on mushrooms in “Personal Best,” the frustration of having no pockets in the aptly-titled “Pockets.
The crowd ate up everything that Panic Shack served, but the insatiable fans were hungry for more. Alas, the party was over by 10:00 pm!
