On Sunday June 2nd, the World Ocean School is putting on an all-inclusive outdoor music festival with some great bands, great brews, and proceeds going to a great cause. The Fun for Good Festival is an all ages event and for attendees 21 and older, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages are included! Tickets are only $39, so instead of banking on winning a pair from us, you should probably buy tix here (remember, it’s all for a good cause). The fest is at The Moakley Federal Courthouse Lawn at Fan Pier.
The Bands: Pimps of Joytime, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Toy soldiers, Will Dailey and the Rivals
The Breweries: Harpoon, Rising Tide, Cape Ann Brewing Company, High and Mighty, Sam Adams, MayFlower, Naukabout
100% of the proceeds generated from this event will go directly to the World Ocean School. In Boston, it provides programs for inner-city youth, focusing on maritime history, sail training, and community building. The World Ocean School also offers multi-day summer expeditions for students worldwide focusing on community service, sail training, leadership, communications, and natural history.
