I didn’t think I needed an anthem to sweat this July heat wave off to.
Hell, I’m a born and raised New Englander, ergo I kind of don’t want any kind of excessive heat, but Ohio’s All Dogs just made it kinda bearable with “That Kind of Girl.”
Heralded as the first single off their debut LP, Kicking Every Day, “Girl” mixes plenty of fuzz with sunny punk (think Swearin’ and Aye Nako‘s first LP) that results in what I imagine Freez-E pops sound like if they came in musical form. Plus, I just checked their home city of Columbus and their humidity levels are at 80% for, like, ever, so they probably feel our weather pain too.
