“Dean’s Room” is the debut single to come from Allison Crutchfield’s January 2017 release, Tourist in This Town. After her recent sign to Merge Records, the first solo release to come from this Crutchfield sibling in over two years is more produced than what we’re used to. And compared to her other associated acts (i.e. Waxahatchee, P.S. Eliot, Swearin’, The Fizz), “Dean’s Room” is punchy and honest, but definitely on the synthier side.

The video was directed by Lara Jean Gallager, who has also worked with other sick names like Palehound and Ex Hex. Watch below, and keep a lookout for Tourist in This Town, set to release January 27th.
