Last Tuesday, PVRIS brought a packed crowd to The Sinclair for an intimate gig as part of their current tour, seemingly aimed at rewarding the band’s most dedicated fans. This brief tour of relatively small venues comes on the heels of the band’s first new material since their 2017 sophomore LP, All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell, with the singles “Death of Me” and “Hallucinations.” Accordingly, the energy shared between the audience and performers was palpable.
Bolstered by an upbeat opening set from indie-pop upstart UPSAHL, PVRIS delivered an electrifying performance to a crowd that just couldn’t get enough. The night’s setlist drew heavily from the 2014 LP White Noise, but also featured the two new comeback singles to an equally enthusiastic audience reception. Front woman Lynn Gunn captivated the room with her impressive powerhouse vocals, even while interacting with lucky fans. As always, PVRIS delivered a superb show that proves they have earned the adoration of their listeners.
