Bleeding Rainbow and Fat Creeps have finished a 12-date tour together with one of the last few dates in Fat Creeps’ own home(ish) of Allston, viagra MA. The bill at Great Scott looked surprisingly empty the day before the show, vialis 40mg and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that local dudes Nice Guys joined it just that day thanks to kind words from Fat Creeps. Their psychedelic, viagra surf rock punk breeds with a perfect mix of hard and melodic to lyrics about “getting too high to order Dominoes” and other pizza themes. They played new songs during their set, and we can all be excited for their next release.
Fat Creeps is one of my favorite local bands, and I had not seen them since the beginning of this year. This recent tour with Bleeding Rainbow has done well for them, and you can tell that the constant shows have matured their sound quite a lot. Noisier elements creep into their older songs and play heavily into newer jams.
Bleeding Rainbow capped off the evening with their fun mix of noisy pop punk. They sound like a band bred in a garage but honed for the stage. To know Bleeding Rainbow is to see them live, so if you missed the boat on this show, check them out next time they are in Boston. Their perfectly pairing male and female vocals work so effortlessly in sync, that at times you can’t tell who is singing what harmonies. Their home city of Philadelphia is just close enough that I hope I can see them again in the near future.
