After ten years of crazy antics and dramatic sing-a-longs, Foxy Shazam are calling it quits. The band took to Facebook today to announce an indefinite hiatus that will see them cancelling future shows, including their stop at New York City’s Webster Hall this Saturday.
The American rock n’ roll six piece spent most of this summer touring in support of their fifth LP, GONZO, which came out for free this spring. It saw them taking a big shift in sound that saw them go from tongue-in-cheek dramatics to a heartfelt dramedy that still wrapped fans around their fingers.
It’s unclear if the band will be getting back together anytime soon, or if they will still play their New Year’s Eve show. For now, all we can do is wait. Read the full post below:
