This week Converse announced its second holiday EP, “Noise to the World” from the brand’s community-based studio, Rubber Tracks. The free, six-track EP features covers and original holiday tunes by various artists including Deer Tick, Dum Dum Girls, and Iamsu!. The release also highlights some noteworthy up-and-comers like GRMLN, Torreblanca and Boston’s own fitted and fly emcee, Michael Christmas.

In celebration of the release, the Rubber Tracks alumni will perform a free show at Newbury’s Converse store tonight at 6PM. That’s free, as in $0, as in the priceless memory of watching Christmas rap about Michael Cera. An OG Swaggerdick guest appearance would be an added bonus. Or better yet, a Christmas miracle.
