Local Noise rockers Guerilla Toss have had an enormous year, and they’re only continuing to snowball with some big news ahead. First off, they will be releasing a split LP with Brooklyn’s Sediment Club on Feeding Tube Records in June. You can their side of the split now (3 tracks called “God Fearing Sex Symbol,” “Drip Decay,” and “Bird In a Basket”), but only for the next 24 hours or so, so hurry the eff up. By the way, it’s awesome. G Toss continues to make sounds that I never fathomed were humanly possible, and encompass a ton of the energy you experience from seeing them live. If you haven’t had the chance to check them out yet, first off, quit being a doof, but secondly, picture a furious mixture of Deerhoof meets Nu Sensae meets Can (I know, weird right?). This band makes me feel so uncomfortable in the best possible way, which is why I’m excited that their good news continues. Apparently they will be back in the studio in June to record a full-length which will be released on cassette via Vermont-based NNA Tapes. This rules, check out these new tracks, “Bird In a Basket” rips so hard.
