Joanna Gruesome announced on Facebook this morning that frontwoman Alanna McArdle has left the band. Giving her reasoning for leaving, she stated that her “mental health problems have become a lot worse,” causing her to “take some time out to focus on some kind of ‘recovery’.” The band wished her the best, and has added two new members Kate and Roxy of Pennycress and two white cranes, respectively. The band claims to have “met them both in an occult bookshop.” That’s the new lineup in the picture above.
