Here at Allston Pudding, our love for Krill is no secret. Their wacky intelligence coupled with the pure awesomeness of their music paint them sitting high atop our ever-growing list of favorites. Krill bowled us over with last year’s, Lucky Leaves, a humorously woeful album of non-stop head-nodders. Then came February’s Steve Hear Pile in Malden and Bursts Into Tears, a 5 track EP devoted to the fictional Steve and his defeat after hearing the infamous Dripping, an ass-kicking full-length from Exploding In Sound label-mates, Pile.

From hysterical Steve comes the beauty of “Turd”, a song about, well, envisioning yourself as poop. Since its release “Turd” has quickly come to join the band’s more recognizable work, combining their thrashing, slightly wacky sound with the amusement of self-depreciation.
