Hello! And welcome to week one million eight of “quarantine in Beantown.” We thought you might enjoy some excellent live streaming virtual experiences to help you cope and feel more connected to your neighbors. Manifest Boston presents three concerts featuring Tim Hall, Red Shaydez, and Lisa Bello; as well as a conversation with Alfred Darlington a.k.a. Daedelus. Check out the details below:
Tim Hall somehow straddles the line of one-man show, spoken word artist, and jazz musician all at the same time. At hisrecent Sofar Sounds performance, he stood before a jazz band and delivered poignant prose mixed with his own alto sax solos. Tim Hall is sure to provide a cool, thoughtful performance with a live musical backdrop. Check out his set on Monday, April 27th at 7:30pm.
Red Shaydez is an immensely talented Boston-based Hip Hop artist. Her song“Self-Care ‘18” brings a message of “taking care of oneself all year long” — a welcome mantra, especially now. Check out Red Shaydez while she delivers an on-point and up-tempo set on Wednesday April 29th at 7:30pm.
Lisa Bello is an R&B/Pop crossover musician whose double-threat singing and rapping duties will add for another memorable concert in the Manifest Boston catalog. Lisa’s vocals work seamlessly between genres and arrangements;band or anacoustic set. This concert kicks off on Friday May 1st at 7:30pm.
Alfred Darlington a.k.a. Daedelus is a wildly inventive, productive, and creative electronic musician that’s going to be talking about “creating a sense of wonder” in everyday life. As a man thatperforms to packed clubs in something resembling a Bob Cratchit costume, expect an original and light discussion on keeping a fresh perspective in this turbulent time. His convo begins at 8:00 AM on Thursday, April 30th.
You can RSVP to Manifest at Home and Manifest Mornings if you’d like to tune in!
