Elvis Depressedly released their video for “No More Sad Songs,” (n.m.s.s.) yesterday, which was directed by band member Delaney Mills. These South Carolina sweethearts melded together creepy old footage of puppeteers and gallivants across some foggy hills as the backdrop to their actually very sad — but also beautiful– song. Oh and what’s that? Local label Run for Cover Records uploaded this video?? Looks like they recently signed to Run for Cover and will be releasing their new album New Alhambra with them in the spring.
Elvis Depressedly is playing the eastern half of North America this December, with Told Slant on the bill as well. They’ll be at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge on 12/9 and the rest of the dates are below:
