New Hampshire’s Notches put out their full-length High Speed Crimes earlier this year, and it’s finally available on vinyl through Canadian-based label Young Modern. Notches describe the album as,
“a rock opera about being uncool. Their first LP combines the tragically lame genre of pop punk with indie rock, early emo and spits, kicks and screams. A 40 minute long LP packed with woah oh’s, expletives and break up anthems that ends with an 8 1/2 minute long one take jam session. Notches are something like an emo band for those interested in anything but.”
Stream the album below and order the LP through Young Modern here. An alternative option would be to patiently wait until April 18th and see them play with Gravel, Swim Team and Knockin Bones at Charlie’s Kitchen.
