Parquet Courts Release Title Track for Human Performance, Out 4/8

Brooklynite band Parquet Courts have an album due out Friday, April 8th, but they’ve given fans one final tease before Human Performance is officially released via Rough Trade. The four-minute long song is starts out weighted with regret and simple strumming, but the four-piece ramps it up for their title track’s chorus, filling any dead space with true slacker-punk potential. With such deliberate sound and theme, this latest single has us eager for more musical confidence on Parquet Courts’ 5th LP.
Don’t miss these humans’ performance this month on Friday, April 15th at The Paradise, or catch them on tour in North America throughout May.
