The New York City-based alt-rock band People I’ve Met came to The Sinclair on September 29, 2026 accompanying Florence Road on their first headlining North American tour. The sold-out show was a golden opportunity for the young band to make new converts out of the Flo Ro audience.

The enthusiasm of Florence Road fans was an obvious benefit. Supporters of the rising Irish rock band had queued far down the street prior to the show, so People I’ve Met were greeted by a buzzing throng who had already filled the room comfortably by the 8:30 pm start. The trio performed their EP Bunny, a newer single, “WE LIKE MAKING NOISE,” and unreleased music to complete their 30-minute opening set. The crowd was receptive to their lofty, atmospheric sound, which was buoyed by lead singer Moses Martin’s vocals. It was a short window to win favor, but the mission was accomplished. Even more people had arrived by the end of their performance, and People I’ve Met were met with the approval of a full house.
