Don’t let Meredith Graves’s adorable face deceive you- she’s full of relentless fierce energy, and she’s waiting to unleash it on you, vinyl style. After gaining national recognition following Perfect Pussy‘s debut EP I Have Lost All Desire for Feeling, the prog-noise punk group began boring deep into your eardrum, hitting you with raw emotion packed into fervent, almost impossibly speedy sounds.
Living up to the name they’d established for themselves, Perfect Pussy gifted us last year with Say Yes To Love- a perhaps more optimistic side of their otherwise bleeding hearts. And they’ve decided that Christmas is coming early this year- they’re releasing I Have Lost Desire for All Feeling on vinyl and CD, courtesy of Captured Tracks. Purchasing the one-sided etched LP also gets you a 32-page photo album documenting the band’s most recent tour. You can pick it up here.
And if that’s not enough Pussy for you, you can get your fill catching them on the road this spring on their tour with Deerhoof. After bringing punk down under, you can see them in a brief stint in the south and then later up the east coast.
