Last week, Alvvays played a sold-out show at Paradise Rock Club along with Snail Mail and Hatchie. The majority of Hatchie’s set was made up of songs from their May release, Sugar & Spice, and overall the Australian dream pop group was well received by the crowd. Snail Mail’s following set included many tracks from their recent release, Lush, with much of the audience singing along to the familiar songs. This same energy was carried over into Alvvays’ headlining set, as spectators sang and danced along to the music throughout the night. The band’s setlist included songs from their 2014 self-titled release like “Archie, Marry Me,” and multiple songs from 2017’s Antisocialites.
