On the first of November, California four piece Mom Jeans. stopped in Somerville to play two back to back shows at ONCE Ballroom. The band began the day with a 3:00pm gig, and then played a second show to a sold out crowd later that night. Joining them were Just Friends, awakebutstillinbed, and Retirement Party.

All four bands had released albums this year, with Mom Jeans. touring in celebration of their newest release, Puppy Love, giving fans a host of new songs to look forward to hearing. After the matinee show, some committed concert goers got right back in line, ready to see the whole thing again. The night’s performance featured an energetic crowd, an ongoing moshpit, and a lot of singing along to the bands on stage.
