Priests stopped in Boston last week to play an all ages show at The Sinclair in celebration of their new album, The Seduction of Kansas. The band played with touring partners GURR from Germany, and locals, Dump Him.
Dump Him started the night off strong with a set featuring new material, including the live debut of a previously unreleased song. Likewise, GURR’s high energy performance drew enthusiastic support from the audience, as the Berlin-based band let the crowd know there was “no reason not to go wild” during the more upbeat parts of their set.
Priests’ headlining performance didn’t disappoint either, as the crowd sang and danced along to tracks from both The Seduction of Kansas and their previous album, Nothing Feels Natural. Highlights included songs like “Good Time Charlie,” and title-track “The Seduction of Kansas,” as well as the closing performance of “Jesus’ Son.”
