Love is in the air this week, so what better time than now for local heartthrobs The Rare Occasions to release a video for their chanson d’amour, “Halfheartedly”?

This behind the scenes video was filmed at The Record Company in Boston last February, where the boyz recorded this song for their 2014 EP, Feelers.

Even if you’re not in the loving mood this week, the song’s got a point. This stripped-down video also shows that it’s not about the drama or the effects when it comes to feeling what you really feel.

You can be their valentines at The Rare Occasions’ next show, February 18, where they’ll be performing with some other rad local acts, like Grey Season and I/O, as part of Heavy Rotation Records Dorm Sessions 10 compilation release show.
