Two of our very favorite local bands have new albums up for streaming this week in advance of their official release dates. Give them a spin and try to tell us they aren’t two of the best local releases so far this year. We won’t agree with you.
Sneeze’s new full length Wilt is available right there. The record is out June 17th via Glory Kid Records, and is produced by Justin Pizzoferrato (who has also worked with Dinosaur Jr. and Speed Ortiz, to name a few). The band will play a record release show at O’Brien’s on June 14th with Ovlov, Raw Blow, and Sweet John Bloom.
Bad History Month (or Fat History Month, depending on who you talk to) is streaming their new split full-length tited Famous Cigarettes right here. The split also features tracks from Bloomington, Indiana’s Dust From 1000 Years. It will be released on Exploding In Sound Records next Tuesday. Both bands will play at Charlie’s Kitchen in Harvard Square next Monday. If you can’t wait until then, they also play in Worcester at Distant Castle tonight (6/4) and Friday in Lowell at Wilder Zangcraft.
