The Decemberists have released even more tour dates for 2015, and they’re stopping in Boston in September to support their latest album, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World.
It’s actually really sweet that they’ve mapped out this scenic New England road trip of sorts for their tour dates, giving you so many chances to see them this summer:
If you snoozed on Newport Folk Fest tickets and won’t be able to see them there on July 25, you can try heading over to College Street Music Hall in New London, CT, on July 27 (bonus round: they’re playing with Lady Lamb!!!).
But if that doesn’t work out, head up to Portland, ME to see them at the State Theatre on July 29 (Lady Lamb will be here too!).
Miss out on that one, too? You’re practically in Vermont at this point, so head over to the The Green at Shelburne Museum on July 30 and see them and Lady Lamb there!
If you forgot your passport and therefore can’t see them at Osheaga Festival in Montreal on July 31 through August 2, I think September 23 at Blue Hills Pavilion in Boston with tUnE-yArDs may be your best shot at the point, because tickets haven’t even gone on sale yet. But they will soon!
So pick one or pick them all — and if you do plan a road trip this summer, a mixtape featuring The Decemberists’ signature indie folk is a must.
