I hope this post title didn’t make you think we have tickets to give away or anything… I just love Angel Olsen and she’s playing three shows within traveling distance this weekend. 1) The Sinclair on Friday  2) Cafe Nine in New Haven, CT on Saturday and 3) Fete Lounge in Providence, RI on Sunday. All shows feature opening act, Promised Land Sound. Olsen’s latest release, Burn Your Fire For No Witness, is fuckin awesome, if you don’t believe me, check out this video to her song Hi-Five- yes, as in when you and a buddy slap your hands together in a congratulatory manner- in which Olsen decides to do a bunch of random shit because she’s lonely, and so are you! Actually, she reminds me quite a bit of Cate Le Bon here, but this is most likely because Le Bon was wearing a sparkly gold top when I saw her play at the Middle East. I think they are both badass, don’t you?
