So listen, I know it’s getting chilly and today is the last time it will be light out after 6 p.m. until Spring – but I’ve got something to keep your demons at bay. It’s the latest track from Tycho called “Awake” and the first peak at his third LP due out sometime next year.

Tycho, also known as Scott Hansen, is an ambient music artist (Ghostly International) based out of San Francisco who doubles as a graphic designer (who runs a rad design blog ISO50).

Press play and transport yourself into Tycho’s world, filled with sunny and dreamy layered guitars . No sign of seasonal depression in sight. “Awake” is a breath of fresh air. While 2011’s Dive is already a masterpiece, “Awake” tells me that each new piece from Tycho is going to be better than the last. Check it out below.
