Allston Village Main Streets is a really awesome non-profit that helps make Allston a better place. For more info on what they do read below or check out their site. They host a farmers’ market every week and are looking for bands to play acoustic sets! The farmers’ market is located in front of Jackson Mann (across from Twin Donuts) and is held every Saturday through October which means there are plenty of spots left!

Details from AVMS:

• Bands will be paid $25 per hour for up to 4 hours of performance (a potential for $100), additionally performers are invited to sell merchandise and can keep any tips made.
• The Allston Village Farmers Market has approximately 100 passersby and attendees an hour.
• Each performer will receive promotion to the AVMS email list of over 1,000 Allston residents and more than 1,000 followers on social media. AVMS will help you promote upcoming shows and new music releases even on weeks when you are not performing at the market!
