After a very successful inaugural event, Boston Calling has now announced a second event to take place September 7th and 8th at City Hall Plaza. The follow-up festival will feature a similar blueprint, with headliners like Vampire Weekend and Passion Pit, but this time with a much more diverse spread of bands, including the electronic offerings of Major Lazer, the hip-hop prowess of Kendrick Lamar, and the slow-burning soul of Solange.

I must say, Boston Calling this weekend was an enormous success and a ton of fun. There will be more to come about that later on Allston Pudding, but let us tell you now, that you should NOT miss out on attending the second one. Seriously, this has quickly become the premiere music event in Boston, and it’s a real thrill to see it continuing and expanding.
