Some of Berklee’s best are coming together tonight at 10 to present the music of Beyoncé and Usher in an event titled A Royal Affair. The event is being held in the Berklee College of Music Cafeteria and is curated by Jevie Pop, a student-run production company at Berklee. Admission is free for everyone.

The concert series brings together musicians from Berklee and the New England Conservatory. Performers of note include bassist Joe Cleavland, who recently finished touring with Brandy, vocalist Imany Handy who appeared on American Idol, and singer Nathan Hortono, who has had a number one album in Japan and Indo-China. The event also features choreographed dancers who have worked with artists such as Karmin, Jessica Simpson, Willie Nelson and the Dallas Black Dance Theatre.
