To celebrate April Fool's Day, we asked some of our favorite local bands to share their most memorable pranks, jokes, funny stories, etc. However, some bands couldn't resist using this opportunity to not discuss pranks, but instead talk about the most inspirational artist of our generation.
Sneeze:
On the subject of pranks: "One time I made a batch of weed brownies at my old job (I was the manager) and left them in the break room. All were gone at the end of the day. 2 out 15 people knew they were high. Everyone else was just acting so strange and kept it to themselves because they had no idea what was going on. I had a lot of fun fucking with people that day / had a lot of extra work to do. Oh yeah and one time I told my mom I got my girlfriend pregnant when I was 16. She called her and ripped her a new asshole. Both had no idea what was going on...she broke up with me the next day. Last year I put razor blades in apples and handed them out to .... oh wait that was Halloween."
On the subject of Scott Stapp: "Scott Stapp... Fuck that guy, I would like to take him higher and drop him straight to the fucking ground head first. However he is amazing live. Please watch this video for reference:

"Everyone in the band is a devout Christian so we don't actually participate in trickery, pranks or any form foolery. As wicked big Christians we steer clear from celebrating all of those devil days like Halloween, Groundhogs Day, Chaunuka and of course April Foolies. On those days we don't lower ourselves to the level that the rest of America and the sinners are comfortable at.
This April fools day we will do what we do everyday, except for Sunday obviously, which is to stand outside of Planned Parenthood trying to annoy, piss off and just be plain ol' mean to any young ladies walking by or going into that house of satan and demon sex. And of course we will be listening to Scott Stapps new album "Proof of Life" on repeat as he is our favorite musical artist right behind John Tesh. And of course APRIL FOOLS!!!!!! We go there Sundays too."
Scott Stapp is a very important figure in our personal mythos of our band. During our first 'practice', if I recall correctly, our original guitarist Alex and I passed the time watching youtube videos of Scott's provocatively butchered National Anthem at the Nascar track, and also his odd rendition of a Marlins theme-song superimposed on an old Creed chord structure. I've heard previously that Scott had made an unsuccessful bid to author a more contemporary official Marlins lyrical theme, but that is neither here nor there. I even believe our band made a slight (drunken?) pass at learning Scott Stapp's pro-Marlins song long ago. Things have evolved since then, yet all bands long for their origins, yes?

On the subject of jokes: "Yeah, you want a good joke? OBAMA! There's a joke!"
On the subject of Scott Stapp: "Come to my shows.................... please respond......."
