Mutual Benefit Shares New “Auburn Epitaphs” Music Video

Mutual-Benefit

Now that fall is finally settling in, it’s time to bust out your Mutual Benefit records. The Brooklyn-via-Boston-via-Everywhere folk frontman Jordan Lee recently re-issued his EP The Cowboy’s Prayer through Other Music Recording Co. To celebrate, he’s sharing a new music video for “Auburn Epitaphs” off that record.

The music video, directed by David Dean Bukhart, was sought out by the label and band after they saw Bukhart’s beautiful fan video for “Golden Wake.” Bukhart uses his talents to complement the song with an accompanying visual that’s burnt with the warmth of summer and revisits nostalgia with acrobats and road trips. It’s found footage at its finest. “While watching the video, I keep finding new meaning in Jordan’s words,” says Josh Madell, Other Music Recording Co.’s Josh Madell.  “For me, it is that rare case where images give the sounds added depth.”
