Boston-area label Topshelf Records, home to such acts as A Great Big Pile of Leaves, Field Mouse and Braid, is heading West. Entering it’s ninth year, the popular label will move into a new office in San Diego sometime in 2015.

“We love Boston,” label founders Seth Decoteau and Kevin Duquette said in a note on the Topshelf Facebook page. “We’ll be leaving behind many close friends, fond memories and cold winters but are super excited about our new home on the west coast.”
