On the 19th, action planet Mars enters multi-tasker Pisces and you can focus all your energy on creative ventures, or at least feeling inspired again. The same day, Mercury enters its infamous retrograde, and you’ll start to experience the usual setbacks– essentials are lost and mis-sent emails abound. But good vibes from a Capricorn sun and new moon should revitalize, just in time for the new year.

Your Trax: Pinegrove’s music feels both familiar and honest, and this year they came out with an album worth listening to if you’re into kinda folky emo stuff. On the complete opposite side of the spectrum, Birthing Hips came out with a new album in October that could serve as your motivation to make innovative moves this month, or at least as a reflection of unorganized Mercury in retrograde.
