Last Saturday, Bellows wrapped up their summer tour at ONCE Somerville with openers Soft Fangs and Happy Little Clouds. The weekend also marked the last of their farewell shows for 2016’s Fist and Palm, making it particularly special show for local fans.

The night before Independence Day, O’Brien’s Pub drew a strong weekday crowd with a four band local lineup consisting of Blue Ray, Pleaser, Banana and Nice Guys.

Last Tuesday, Mal Blum headlined a three act show at Great Scott with opening bands Heavy Pockets and locals Mint Green in a high energy and fan-friendly night.
